Kollektion: Mud Freak

Hi, I’m Liz Velazquez—a graphic designer by day and ceramic artist by night, with a passion for all things wonderfully odd. Originally from Toronto and raised in Mexico City, I now call Malmö home. I launched @mud.freak as a creative playground—a space where I can experiment freely, without rules. I draw inspiration from the bold colours and electric energy of my Mexican roots, working with stoneware clay to create homewares and jewellery that are bold, playful, and full of personality.
My love for fashion as a form of self-expression naturally led me to ceramic jewellery, where each piece goes beyond being just an accessory—it’s wearable art that makes a statement. I believe in slow, intentional making, valuing unique pieces over fast fashion and mass production. I hope my pieces bring as much joy to others as I had in creating them.
