Floral Fjord is a painting inspired by our mountain lands in Lapland. ⛰️✨
in the painting you will find milkweed and mountain gentian as well as lapp bumblebees - a large species that can withstand the colder climate. This is a colorful painting with a wide color spectrum with the main focus on turquoise, cerise and green.
The acrylic paints in this painting are mixed with a medium to make the paint thick and thus build structure on the canvas. Flowers and bumblebees therefore bulge out a little from the painting, I do this to emphasize a clearer 3D effect to the blurry background, a method that is inspired by Sarah McDonald Artwork.
All my paintings are surface-treated with varnish. I do this to protect your artwork against UV radiation, dust and dirt.
