Emma Widell is an artist and ceramist with a studio in Malmö. She started painting as a young person and have been working with art for several years. During the pandemic, she felt a bit empty of inspiration and decided to explore her creativity, which led me to discover a love for clay. She has now been working with clay for nearly two years.
Emma draws her inspiration from everything she has gone through in her life, her thoughts, and her experiences. Her art is a reflection of herself and is how she expresses herself. Imperfections always play a central role in her creative process. Each object she creates is unique, and scratches, flaws, and small cracks are all elements that she uses in her creations.
