”Sisters of Love”
Hopefully, the paintings can make people smile so they feel a little lighter when they leave. My women become free together. They are sisters of love. There is a natural understanding between them. I have written texts and portrayed them on stage, sung about them, and now I have painted them. No matter which form I use, I want to communicate with the audience or the viewer.
I want to spread joy with my women, but not only that. There is comfort and an embrace as well. There is a tremendous power in female community. In these times, we need that power more than ever.
